ABOUT CAPOEIRA-EL PASO
A Life of Balance
By integrating body, mind, culture, capoeira, spacial awareness, and community, we strive to promote an understanding of the inter-dependency of all aspects in your personal health and well-being.
Capoeira-El Paso (CEP) was established as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization in 2007. We continue to grow under the guidance of Mestre Acordeon and the United Capoeira Association (UCA), with support from the El Paso Museum and Cultural Affairs Department.
Allow us to be your guide, teaching you the techniques of Capoeira needed to create and maintain a strong lifestyle. Our classes are so much more than simply learning movements, they are about learning Brazilian culture, honoring tradition, and creating a community. Sharpen the tools and develop the habits you’ll need to improve your daily habits, outlook, and ultimately--your life.
All classes will resume in studio beginning February 2, 2021.
All guidelines below must be adhered to for all classes.
If positive cases increase, we will switch back to an online format.
Contact us if interested in joining a class. Beginners welcome!
UPDATED STUDIO GUIDELINES:

-No one is allowed to wait for others or congregate before, during, or after a class anywhere in the studio.

SPECIFICALLY FOR CAPOEIRA:
-Masks are required.
-During partner drills and roda, we will still maintain our distance from each other as much as possible.
-Capoeira is a very social art form, but any bodily contact including hugs, high fives, handshakes, should be kept to a minimum as much as possible.
The Capoeira - El Paso team is comprised of UCA endorsed capoeira teachers dedicated to putting their energy and skills towards helping you reach your goals.
